Yukon Deed Records
Yukon deed records are filed with the Canadian County Clerk in El Reno. The Canadian County Clerk runs an independent online search portal where you can look up deeds, mortgages, liens, and other land documents at no charge. Searching for Yukon property records starts at the Canadian County website, which uses a system separate from the statewide OKCountyRecords portal. You can search by name, subdivision, section-township-range, or document number. The name search works best when you add an asterisk wildcard after both the last name and first name. This broadens the results and helps you find all records tied to a specific person or business in Yukon.

Canadian County Clerk and Yukon Deed Records
The Canadian County Clerk handles all deed records for Yukon. County Clerk Karalea D. Parnell runs the office at 201 N Choctaw Ave, El Reno, OK 73036. Call (405) 262-1070 for questions. The fax number is (405) 262-3389. You can also email landrecords@canadiancounty.org. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Canadian County Clerk records deeds, mortgages, liens, plats, oil and gas leases, and every other type of property document for Yukon real estate. This is the only office that handles Yukon deed filings. Unlike some Oklahoma counties that use the statewide OKCountyRecords.com system, Canadian County runs its own independent portal at search.cogov.net. The screenshot below shows the Canadian County Clerk home page where you can start searching for Yukon deed records.
The portal covers all document types filed with the clerk. Warranty deeds, quit claim deeds, mineral deeds, mortgages, releases, and liens all show up in search results for Yukon properties.

How to Search Yukon Deed Records Online
The Canadian County online system has four ways to search. The most common is the name search. Type the last name followed by an asterisk. Do the same for the first name. For example, searching "Smith*" and "J*" finds all records where the last name starts with Smith and the first name starts with J. You can also search by spouse name, use a commercial checkbox for business entities, and filter by document type or date range.
The subdivision search lets you look up Yukon deed records by lot, block, and subdivision name. You need at least the subdivision name to run this search. The section-township-range search is useful for unplatted land around Yukon. Enter the section number, township with direction (like 12N), and range with direction (like 7W). The document info search works when you already have an instrument number or book and page reference.
One tip from the county website: if you search for a broad instrument type over a long date range, it may freeze your browser. For example, searching all mortgages filed in a single quarter could return thousands of results. Try to limit searches to one month at a time for common document types.
Note: A statewide search on OKCountyRecords.com will not return results for Canadian County since it runs its own independent system.
Recording Fees for Yukon Deed Records
Recording fees for Yukon deed records follow the state schedule under Title 28 O.S. Section 32. The base rate is $8.00 for the first page. Add a $10.00 preservation fee. That makes $18.00 total for the first page. Each page after that costs $2.00. A three-page deed costs $22.00 to record at the Canadian County Clerk office.
Non-conforming documents cost more. The first page is $25.00 for non-conforming filings in Canadian County. Added pages run $10.00 each. Documents get flagged as non-conforming if they have wrong margins, are hard to read, or go past 8.5 by 14 inches. Plat recording costs $10.00 for one block or less and $25.00 for more than one block. Certified copies are $1.00 per page plus a certification fee.
Documents need a 2-inch top margin and 1-inch margins on all other sides. Original signatures and a complete notary seal are required. The grantee's mailing address must appear on every deed. The legal description has to be specific enough to identify the property. Missing any of these items means a rejection or higher fees.
Yukon Deed Filing Requirements
Under Title 67 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the county clerk serves as the ex officio register of deeds. Each Yukon deed gets an instrument number and a book-and-page reference when filed. The clerk keeps at least two copies in separate spots to guard against fire or other loss.
Documentary stamps or an exemption stamp go on all deeds. The Alien Land Ownership Affidavit from the Attorney General's office must be attached per 60 O.S. Section 121. Under Title 16 O.S. Section 16, a recorded deed serves as constructive notice to all future buyers and creditors. That is why filing your Yukon deed properly matters so much. Recording puts the world on notice that a transfer or lien exists.
Yukon Municipal Court and City Records
The Yukon Municipal Court is at 532 W Main St, Yukon, OK 73099. Call 405-354-4264 for information. While the municipal court does not handle deed recordings, it may have records related to code violations, liens, or other matters that touch on property issues in Yukon.
For property-related court records like foreclosures or judgment liens, the Oklahoma State Courts Network covers district court filings. Foreclosures and quiet title actions that affect Yukon deed records go through the Canadian County District Court. The USLandRecords Oklahoma portal may also have some Canadian County records available for search.
Nearby Cities
Oklahoma City borders Yukon to the east. Parts of OKC sit in Canadian County, so those areas use the same county clerk office as Yukon. Mustang is just south of Yukon and also falls in Canadian County. Both cities file their deed records through the same Canadian County Clerk in El Reno. Edmond is to the northeast in Oklahoma County, which uses a different recording system.
Since deed records are filed by county and not by city, a Yukon property and a Mustang property go through the same clerk office. The same online search system covers both cities. Always confirm your county before filing or searching for Yukon deed records.
